Lower Broadheath is located 3 miles west of Worcester just off the A44 (main road into Wales) and only a 15 minute drive from the M5.
The village is on the composer Sir Edward Elgar's trail and his birthplace museum is a short walk from the holiday cottages. It is an excellent location for walking the many footpaths in the area and exploring the Heart of England.
There are many towns and cities to visit within easy reach Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bristol, Birmingham, Stratford upon Avon (home to Shakespeare) and Warwick.
The Cotwolds and the border into Wales is only a 40 minute drive from the farm
The Malvern Hills are close by and they can be seen very clearly from Malvern View holiday cottage. They are a ten mile ridge with spectacular views to the Welsh hills, Cotwolds and Severn Valley.
Local places to visit within easy reach include: Worcester Cathedral, County Cricket ground, Crowngate shopping centre, Civil War Commandery Centre, Royal Worcester Visitor centre, Elgars Birthplace, Witley Court, Eastnor Castle the Malvern Hills, the west Mildlands Safari Park and Severn Valley Railway. There are also several national trust houses in the area.
